Maintenance
Maintaining your pool cover system is generally limited to flushing out the track guides with water and lubricating with Silicone spray on a regular basis.
Wearable parts such as Sliders, Pulley Bearings and End Stop Guides can
be changed either by the home owner, dealer or an Aquamatic engineer.
As with all things, the greater the care, the longer the life and an
Aquamatic cover system is no exception. *Instruction for changing
Sliders etc., are avaible to download below.
Please Note, extra care and maintenance will be required if under certain conditions eg: 1. The location of your cover is near Pine Trees. Extra maintenance will be required to remove the Pine needles from Top or Flush track systems. 2. Any free-form or shaped pool such as Kidney where 'Cover Treatment' has been applied will incur more frequent Slider changes and possible skew adjustment.
IMPORTANT Periodic checks will have to be made on the fabric material to make sure that the cover is in good condition. It is the only barrier between you and the water!. Aquamatic can not be held responsible for premature fabric ageing due to a lack of maintenance/ chemical care. Your Aquamatic dealer will be able to advise you on cover conditions.

An Aquamatic safety cover, like a car, is NOT a maintenance free
product. Depending on the location and use of the cover will determine
how much maintenance is required. From our experience, every cover
installation has it’s own individual maintenance requirements. Some
cover systems will require an annual service, whilst others, once every
three or four years!
For general cleaning of the cover fabric we recommend that our 'AQM
Super Cover Cleaner' is used. Available in 5 litres, the cover cleaner
will remove dirt, grime etc. Pressure Jet Cleaners should not be used
on lacquered fabrics!
