Steve joined Paramount in 1988 having previously worked for a local pool builder since leaving school. His initial task was to set up and run a pool service scheme for end users. This was followed by working within the warehouse, packing and supplying goods for pool dealers. The arrival of the Aquamatic Safety Cover system in 1995 saw Steve take more of an office-based role taking on the responsibility of marketing and production.
